Before the crowd’s watchful eyes, the rear door of the Rolls-Royce swung open. Lin Feng, dressed in a tailored suit and gleaming black leather shoes, alighted with a composed and steady air. His cold, chiseled features and distinctive build immediately drew the attention of every young woman at the hotel entrance.

Lowering his gaze, Lin Feng strode directly to the driver’s side and opened the door. From inside emerged Liu Tianhan, stepping gracefully in slender high-heeled shoes, her suit perfectly fitted and dark sunglasses concealing most of her face, though many still recognized her at a glance.

“Miss Liu actually came in person!”

“This must be a major contract for Yihan Group this time!”

The crowd buzzed with speculation, gazing at Liu Tianhan with anxious anticipation, a current of intrigue running beneath their words.

The name Liu Tianhan was not unfamiliar to Xu Zhiqing. Lin Feng had once mentioned the upper echelons of Yihan Group to her, and among the names he’d listed was Liu Tianhan’s. She had never imagined she would encounter her today.

A jolt ran through Xu Zhiqing’s heart—she realized this signing was far from ordinary. She stared closely at Liu Tianhan. Without expression, Lin Feng ran the scanner up and down Xu Zhiqing, then checked her pockets with a practiced hand.

The familiar touch, after so long, sent a strange tremor through Xu Zhiqing’s heart, her eyes flickering with emotion.

Taking advantage of the check, she whispered, “Xiao Feng, are you still angry? Mom and Dad actually...”

“You can go in now.”

Before she could finish, Lin Feng cut her off mercilessly.

Xu Zhiqing bit her lip instinctively, gave Lin Feng a deep look, and walked into the conference room.

Li Hao had already checked Xu Jie and allowed him through.

Once the two had entered, Li Hao closed the conference room doors. He and Lin Feng stayed at the front entrance, while two others guarded the back.

Inside, the meeting proceeded as usual. During a lull, Li Hao couldn’t help but ask, “Hey, Lin, that beautiful woman just now—do you know her?”

“No,” Lin Feng replied flatly and decisively.

“Don’t know her? Then why was she calling you so affectionately... Xiao Feng this, Xiao Feng that...”
