He Tian’s eyes lit up.

"Old brother, what kind of business?" He Tian asked immediately, appearing very interested.

"I own several 4S dealerships," Young Master Hai said with a smile. "Your company, Tongda, has always had a tradition of partnering with 4S shops. I believe this is a major feature that distinguishes Tongda from other repair companies! How about I hand over the maintenance for these locations to you?"

"Old brother, are you serious?" He Tian’s face lit up with joy. He was well aware of Young Master Hai’s industrial structure. The various car brands Young Master Hai held agencies for had over a dozen 4S dealerships in Tianhai alone! This was a significant amount of business, and it would be a major boost for Tongda Auto Repair’s expansion strategy.

And this was just in Tianhai; if this model were pushed nationwide, the market potential would be immense.

"Do I look like I'm joking? To be honest, brother, you need to do me this favor! The maintenance side of things has been dragging me down, and I’ve been earning much less than before. Getting rid of this headache is a benefit to me!" Young Master Hai said with a chuckle.

He Tian, of course, did not take these words at face value. He knew perfectly well who was really getting the better end of the deal.

"Then shall we let our subordinates handle the negotiations?" He Tian asked with a smile.

"Let’s leave it to them," Young Master Hai nodded.

Neither of them hesitated; they made their respective phone calls immediately. A collaboration of such significant scale was settled just like that, in a conversation that felt almost like a joke.

"Brother, actually, the reason I asked you here to discuss this partnership is secondary. The most important thing is that there are some matters I want to discuss with you frankly and openly," Young Master Hai said, his expression turning serious.

"Please, speak your mind, old brother!" He Tian knew that the previous business deal was likely just bait thrown out by Young Master Hai. The real purpose was what he was about to say next.

"I know you were ambushed a while back. It was targeted at Wang Xinrou. Furthermore, I believe your people found the killer and linked it to my Huitong Hotel, so you must have suspected that I was involved as well," Young Master Hai said, looking at He Tian earnestly. "I believe that accepting my racing challenge was partly because you needed the money, but I can't deny that you approached me with that very motive, right?"

He Tian’s mind raced, but his face remained calm.

"Old brother, let’s not talk in riddles. I am currently protecting the Wang sisters, and anyone who wants them dead is an enemy of mine. Naturally, I wouldn't let any lead go, no matter how small. I admit, I did have those considerations when I first approached you," He Tian said with a smile. "It’s just that I hadn't found any valuable leads until now. It seems you are here to clear things up for me today!"

He Tian’s mind was as clear as a mirror. He suspected that Young Master Hai had guessed everything—the moves at Huitong Hotel, the night infiltration of his villa, and even the information obtained from the hotel manager. This was exactly what He Tian had anticipated. Especially as he began to reveal his own strength, it was only a matter of time before Young Master Hai figured it out. In fact, this was the exact effect He Tian had been aiming for. He wanted to use Young Master Hai’s reactions to observe whether he had any connection to the mastermind behind the scenes. In such a calm environment, he had to stir things up to find an opportunity.

"I admit, I do have some contact and cooperation with that assassin organization, but it is completely different from what you think!" Young Master Hai said. "I have never asked about or been involved in their assassination business. I simply provided them with accommodation at the Huitong Hotel! I don't care about or involve myself in anything else. Our cooperation is purely commercial."

"So, old brother, you have nothing to do with the assassination attempt?" He Tian asked with a smile.

"Absolutely nothing! I would never do such a thing," Young Master Hai insisted. "I believe that as our acquaintance deepens, you will be able to judge that for yourself."

"Then why are you telling me this today?" He Tian asked, looking at him with suspicion.

"I won't hide it from you... I am very dissatisfied with the assassination attempt on Wang Xinrou, especially after I started getting to know you," Young Master Hai said in a deep voice. "It has affected my commercial cooperation with them! They have suffered great losses, and they won't just let things go with me."

"With your influence, surely they wouldn't dare threaten you?" He Tian asked with a smile.

"In Tianhai, or even domestically, I have that much confidence! But... after all, they are an assassin organization. Their business is assassination. If I have to be on guard like this all the time, wouldn't that be exhausting?" Young Master Hai shook his head.

"So, you want to take the initiative and eliminate the threat?" He Tian laughed.

"Indeed. My influence is all domestic. I won't hide it from you—I have no real power abroad. I’m helpless in that regard," Young Master Hai said with a bitter smile.

"You mean..." He Tian already understood what he was getting at.

"I hope you can help me! You are far more familiar with the situation abroad than I am, and you have many experts under your command," Young Master Hai said sincerely. "You are the only one who can help me now!"

He Tian realized that the relationship he had built with Young Master Hai through racing had quietly developed into a deeper level of cooperation. By making this request, Young Master Hai was effectively placing them on a more "equal" footing.

"Old brother... I’ve basically abandoned everything outside," He Tian said with a wry smile.

Young Master Hai smiled slightly. "As long as you help me, feel free to ask for anything you need within the country in the future."

"That sounds a bit distant, old brother! If I don't agree, wouldn't I be failing your expectations? It’s just that I’m currently in the dark about the specifics," He Tian said after a brief moment of contemplation.

Young Master Hai muttered to himself. It was true that He Tian didn't know everything, but he certainly didn't believe he was completely in the dark.

"I have all the information on that organization; I hope it helps you!" Young Master Hai said earnestly. "I will fund this operation. One hundred million US dollars. How about that?"

"Old brother, isn't it a bit vulgar to talk about money?" He Tian said with a touch of displeasure.

"The brothers have to work; they can't go unrewarded. Let's leave it at that!" Young Master Hai smiled. "Don't refuse, or I won't be able to live with myself."

"Fine then... To be honest, I’ve always wanted to get rid of that organization. After all, their existence is a threat to the Wang sisters," He Tian said solemnly.

Young Master Hai thought to himself, *Damn it, why didn't the kid say he was doing it for the Wang sisters earlier? He was just waiting for me to offer the conditions and benefits!* However, one hundred million dollars... if it could truly eliminate the potential threat and clear away all the illicit ties, the gains would far outweigh the costs.

"Brother, come, let's study this properly!" Young Master Hai said happily.

He Tian certainly wouldn't refuse; how could he pass up an opportunity to understand his opponent? Yet, he couldn't help but wonder: if Young Master Hai was indeed linked to the person behind the scenes, had he already figured out He Tian’s true goal, or did he truly believe He Tian was only targeting the assassin organization?

If it were him, he would be much more cautious. He realized that digging any deeper into what lay behind Young Master Hai would be very difficult from now on. Still, he would see what clues he could find from the assassin organization itself.

On the way back, Chou was driving while He Tian sat in the back, eyes closed in thought. Every move and word of Young Master Hai echoed in his mind, being carefully analyzed for any useful information.

"What do you think about Young Master Hai’s business with that organization?" Chou asked, glancing at He Tian.

"What else is there to think? Just some dirty business," He Tian replied bluntly.

"With his status and position, I don't understand why he would get involved in such things," Chou shook his head.

"Money... no one ever thinks they have enough. Young Master Hai is no different. I don't approve of it, but it’s not my place to manage it," He Tian had no intention of using this business against him. If he guessed correctly, the reason Young Master Hai was so frank was that anything that could truly threaten him had likely been scrubbed clean long ago.

"You're not..." Chou looked at He Tian, fully aware of his background.

"Haha, it’s much more complex than you think! Chou... even though you’re a master thief, you’re quite innocent in some ways," He Tian said with a chuckle.

"Never thought I’d be called innocent," Chou said with a self-deprecating laugh.

"It’s a good thing... it’s a virtue!" He Tian couldn't help but laugh.

"To hell with that virtue... I’m going on this mission too," Chou said.

"Don't worry, how could I leave you out? Lazy Cat, Shen Feng, and the two of us—the four of us will be more than enough to completely destroy that organization," He Tian said. In his eyes, a four-man team would have no difficulty at all.
