Seeing the noisy crowd, Su He couldn’t help but remind them, “Alright, alright, stop arguing. Take a look outside the window.”
The crowd looked outside with curiosity, and upon seeing the police cars filling the road behind them, their hearts instantly leapt to their throats.
“Attention all units, the target vehicle is just ahead, suspected to be carrying offensive weapons and extremely dangerous,” a traffic officer announced as he, along with a convoy of police cars, pursued them.
“Oh no, what should I do? Does this mean I, Bald Qiang, will have to spend the New Year in jail?” Bald Qiang collapsed despairingly onto the parking spot.
“Qiang, don’t panic yet. Xiong Da, Xiong Er, Jiji, Maomao, you guys block the police cars from behind. I’ll take over the driving.”
“Okay.”
Then, Xiong Da and Xiong Er took out some apples from the small compartment above and threw them at the police cars.
Meanwhile, Su He employed all the driving skills mastered in a past life to steadily shake off the police vehicles, though the lead officer was no pushover; skillfully avoiding obstacles, he still managed to keep up.
“Damn it, still tailing me relentlessly, huh?” Su He glanced at the nearby truck carrying lumber.
“Got an idea,” she said, drifting sharply and ramming into it, scattering the wood all over the road, which then blocked the pursuing police cars.
But the officer, eyeing Su He like a prized target, accelerated and charged forward determinedly.
“Damn, if they catch me, can I even become the bureau chief?” Su He muttered helplessly.
“Heh heh heh, think you can escape me? Pull over immediately,” the officer shouted, now standing atop his police car with a gun aimed at Su He.
Su He glanced ahead at a road sign and a sudden spark of inspiration lit up her eyes. “Alright, alright, Officer, please don’t shoot; we’re stopping right away.”
“Hmph, didn’t expect someone who looks just eighteen to have such driving skills. Kid, I respect you, but you’re still far behind me. Practice for another two and a half years.” The officer said proudly.
“Alright, alright, Officer, look ahead first.”
The officer instinctively turned his head forward, only to be hit again by a surprise.
Su He laughed loudly, watching the officer fly backward. “Officer, if you want to catch me, you better practice for another two and a half years.”
“Su He, you’re even better than me, the driving god of Dog Bear Ridge. Not bad, kid,” Bald Qiang praised from the side.
“Haha, not at all, I still have a lot to learn from you, Qiang,” Su He said humbly, scratching her head.
They continued driving forward, with Jiji and Maomao constantly vying for the steering wheel. “Su He, let me drive! I can drive!”
“Ah, Jiji, stop fooling around.”

“Whoa!” Suddenly, Su He slammed on the brakes.
Jiji was thrown backward, tumbling to the ground in a sorry state.
Getting up, Jiji complained to Su He, “Su He, can you drive? You threw me off like this!”
“Who told you two to cause trouble?” Behind them, Xiong Da and Xiong Er grabbed Jiji and Maomao and tossed them to the back.
At that moment, everyone looked at the densely packed traffic ahead and slumped in their seats in frustration.
“Ah, at this rate, I’m afraid we won’t be home for the New Year,” Bald Qiang said sadly.
“Why don’t we just get off and head to the train station? It’s completely jammed anyway,” Su He suggested.
“But we don’t have tickets.”
“No problem. We’ve already pissed off the cops; what else are we afraid of?”
“Alright, let’s do it.” With that, the group hurriedly gathered their New Year goods and luggage and got out. Shortly after, the police officer caught up.
“Finally, finally found you!” He opened his car door and aimed his gun inside.
“Hands up, don’t move. Hey, where is everyone?” The officer looked around puzzled, but at that moment, the sirens from outside blared again. Hearing the police sirens, the officer instantly realized trouble and ran back, only to see Maomao driving his police car away.
“Yeah! I finally have a car to drive!”
“Damn monkey, give me back my police car!” The officer cursed furiously from behind.
Meanwhile, Su He and the others sneaked to the train entrance, where the crowd pressed in anxiously. Su He looked at the luggage car at the end.
“Hey, Xiong Da, Xiong Er, Qiang, look over there, there’s a luggage compartment. Let’s hide in there.”
“Okay.”
Just as they were about to enter, two train station employees shouted loudly, “Hey, what are you doing? Are you trying to steal something?” They moved to apprehend Su He and Bald Qiang’s group.
Seeing this, Xiong Er anxiously asked Xiong Da, “What do we do? If we get caught, Bald Qiang definitely won’t make it home.”
“No choice, Xiong Er. Let’s take off our clothes.” Saying this, they tore off their clothes and roared fiercely. Xiong Er followed suit.
The two employees were frightened and quickly fled.

“Great, Qiang, you get on the train first.”
“Okay.”
After Bald Qiang boarded, the station’s security guards appeared, guns drawn, aiming at Xiong Da, Xiong Er, and Su He.
“Don’t move.”
They bound Xiong Da and Xiong Er and threw them into the compartment, while a sly-looking man grabbed Su He.
Hearing the commotion outside, Bald Qiang worried, “I hope Xiong Da, Xiong Er, and Su He are alright.”
He quickly reassured himself, “How could anything happen? Xiong Da and Xiong Er will just be sent back to the forest, and Su He will only be reprimanded and then released. It should be fine.”
Then he overheard a guard on the phone: “Hey, Old Ma, I’ve got great news. Today I scored big. I’m at the train station, and I’ve got two bears for free. They’re bigger than those before and will keep your research institute busy for a year. Okay, send me the money soon.”
Bald Qiang opened the train door and saw the label “Penguin Biotechnology” on the compartment. Could it be that Xiong Da and Xiong Er were going to be used for experiments?
Then the guard made another phone call.
“Hey, honey, I just caught an eighteen-year-old boy at the train station. He looks even prettier than a woman. When we sell him to those rich ladies, we’ll make a fortune.”
Thinking of Su He being exploited by wealthy women, Bald Qiang didn’t hesitate. He stood up quickly. “No matter what, even if it means missing the New Year, I have to rescue Su He, Xiong Da, and Xiong Er.”
Meanwhile, Xiong Da and Xiong Er were biting at the ropes binding them.
“Xiong Er, bite harder! Soon, we’re going to be used for experiments,” Xiong Da urged.
At that moment, the compartment door opened, and a guard with a gun walked in.
“Well, you’re lively. Let me give you a sedative shot first. Then you’ll sleep like good little ones. Tomorrow, your good days will begin.”
Before the shot could be fired, Bald Qiang, from behind, grabbed a stick and struck the guard’s head, knocking him unconscious.
“Xiong Da, Xiong Er, come out quickly! Let’s go save Su He together.”
“Bald Qiang, what happened to Su He?” Xiong Da asked.
“She’s about to be sold to rich ladies.”
“What’s a rich lady?” Xiong Er asked in confusion.
“Ah, don’t ask. Let’s hurry.”
